Rep. Art Turner on the Change that President Obama Will Bring

From Washington, DC: Rep. Art Turner attends the Illinois State Society's Inaugural Gala on January 19 and tells us how he thinks President Obama will bring change. The Gala was attended by some 6,000 current and former Illinoisans.

January 19, 2009: The theme of the Illinois State Society Inaugural Gala was "Notable Men and Women of Illinois." Getting into the fun spirit of the evening, high schoolers from across Illinois represented Illinois' real and fictional heroes. Included was a student from Metropolis dressed as Superwoman; students from Chester, where a favorite son invented the Popeye characters; and a student from Galena dressed as real-life American hero President Ulysses S. Grant.
